| Universal's Compact Medium Duty Cutter is for cutting tapes, lace, spaghetti, strips, etc. The design of this unit and reduced size (7-1/4" long by 3-1/2" wide) allows for use on many machines and applications where the larger heavy duty cutters won't fit. Unit is 100% pneumatic, so there are no electronic controls or solenoids to replace. Installation only requires mounting the unit to the bed of the machine (a universal mounting plate is available if required), mounting the knee switch to the table, and connecting to existing plant compressed air (approximately 40 p.s.i.), which can be accomplished in less than one hour.
